4.5 million patient names, birth dates, social security numbers stolen in massive hack attack

In the latest breach of privacy and Internet security, a cyber attack originating in China hacked into the computers of Community Health Systems Inc., one of the largest U.S. hospital groups, resulting in the theft of Social Security numbers and other personal information of 4.5 million patients.
